In September 2010 the HFH Programme launched Final Journeys 1 & 2; an introductory programme aimed at enhancing the quality of interactions between patients at end of life, their families and hospital staff. A review of this programme was carried out in 2011 and the results are now available
End-of-Life Care: Ethics and Law emerged out of a groundbreaking national project undertaken by UCC, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Irish Hospice Foundation (through the Hospice Friendly Hospitals programme) over three years.
All aspects of the book are of great interest to lecturers and students in healthcare ethics and law as well as healthcare professionals, allied professionals and the general public.
